This 8-1/2 x 11-3/4 inch, 292-page book was the official phonebook for the city of Köln (Cologne). The city by the river Rhine was mostly destroyed in the war and it is amazing that this phonebook survived. The phonebook shows minimal signs of wear but is complete and the binding is tight. Few of these have survived, most were either destroyed in the last two years of the war or gave a little bit of heat for someone in the harsh winter of 1945.
