This hard to find 8-3/4 x 11-3/4 inch, 128 page hardcover book was published in 1935 by order of the Reichsfilmkammer, the office under Dr. Joseph Goebbels that regulated which movies the Nazis found appropiate for the Germans to watch and which movies were regarded ‘degenerate’ In the last week of April 1935 an international movie congress took place in Berlin and on this occasion this book was published. It is filled with pictures of German movie stars and officials from the Reichsfilmkammer, stills from German movie productions, including the well known propaganda movie on the 1934 Reich Party Days by Leni Riefenstahl, entitled ‘Triumph des Willens’. The explaining text is in three languages, German, English and French. The bottom of the spine has sme minor damage and the book is a little bent but otherwise a very interesting book in good condition. Please take a look at this very rare set of German movie magazines
