This 6-3/4 x 10 inch map book was published by the Continental tire com-pany. There are 64 maps of the Greater German Reich (including East Prussia, Sudetenland, the Generalgouvernement (the German occupied part of Poland since September 1939) and parts of Germany’s neighbor countries There is an overview map at the beginning and the Polish names of some of the major cities in Poland are crossed out and a German name is stamped besides it (i.e. Lodz is renamed into Litzmannstadt)!
The maps are glued to little wooden sticks, a very interesting and unusual way of book binding. And not a very user friendly one either, for a book that is intended to be used a lot which caused this copy to crack in two places. But nevertheless this is a very interesting item and an asset for anyone in-terested in Third Reich motorization.
The book contains all completed Reichsautobahnen (Reich Motorways) including their exits as well as planned routes and those currently under construction!
