WITH AN ANTI-SEMITIC PHOTO REPORT FROM THE JEWISH GHETTO IN WARSAW

This rare 7 x 9-3/4 inch, 310-page hardcover photo book by SA-Gruppenfuhrer Dr. Ludwig Fischer was published in 1942 by Burgverlag in Krakau (German occupied Poland). The books intention was to demonstrate how the Germans not only saved the ethnic Germans in Poland from being slaughtered but also how they brought law, order and justice to Poland (at least to the part that was occupied by the Germans). Most interesting is the anti-Semitic photo chapter about the Jews in Warsaw, with photos of the Jewish ghetto, showing Jews cleaning the streets from rubble, the entrance to the Jewish ghetto and photos depicting the life and trade inside the Jewish ghetto. There is some (repairable) damage to the spine, otherwise good condition and a rare book to find.
