‘DER STÜRMER’ (The Attacker)

This periodical was the most anti-Semitic weekly Third Reich publication. It was published by Julius Streicher’s Stürmer publishing house in Nuremberg. There are many anti-Jewish articles in each issue, dealing about Jews and what they did to non-Jews, and there are of course crude anti-Jewish Fips cartoons! Fips was the cartoonist of Julius Streicher’s Stürmer publishing house and in his drawings he presented the Jew in an unpleasant way like nobody else. The periodical has been stored flat and was never folded. For a newspaper that is nearly 90 years old and which has survived a world war, it is in amazingly nice condition and has only a few flaws along the edges but is complete and will make an important addition to every collection of Third Reich material. Original copies of the most anti-Semitic periodical of the Third Reich period are hard to find. Offered here is issue #33, published in August of 1934.

We have other issues of the ‘Der Stürmer‘ listed in this section: Racial Study & Anti-Semitic | OD43
