Erna Lendvai-Dircksen was a well-known photographer in Third Reich Germany who mainly focused on portraits of Germanic, Nordic ‘Aryan’ faces. She traveled throughout the entire German Reich, as well as to Nordic countries such as Norway and published her photographs in several hardcover books like the one that is offered here. The 8-1/2 x 10 inch, approx. 140-page book contains very little text, instead mostly full-page photographs of Nordic people from the eastern parts of Germany and conquered territories. The book was published in 1941 by Zeitgeschichte Verlag in Berlin and is in very nice condition.
