Very interesting original private 100 x 140mm or 4 x 5-1/2 inch postcard, signed by the commandant of the SS-Totenkopf Division SS-Obergruppenführer and Generalleutnant Theodor Eicke. The postcard is from the series ‘Deutsche Künstler und die SS’ (German artists and the SS) and the Eicke portrait was done by Hermann Otto Hoyer and looks even nicer than the well-known photo postcard of him. The postcard was published by order of the Reichsführer-SS / SS-Hauptamt Berlin. Nice bold ink signature.
