This 8-1/2 X 12 inch hard cover stereoscopy book is a very hard to find rarity! It was published on occasion of the world exhibition 1937 in Paris, France. It contains 100 photographs in stereoscopy from the studios of Adolf Hitler’s personal photographer and official photographer of the Nazi Party (Reichsbildberichterstatter der NSDAP), Prof. Heinrich Hoffmann. The book comes with the original, collapsible glasses which, if you look at the photos through them, make the photos appear three-dimensional. On the cover is the impressive award winning German pavilion besides the Eiffel Tower. The text is in three languages, German, English and French! The book is in nice condition with no damage and only minor signs of use, not even the 1/2 inch thick (!) covers that have compartments to hold the stereo view glasses and stereoscopy pictures are damaged (which is often the case on any Third Reich stereoscopy albums). The rare find will make an important addition to anyone’s collection of Third Reich history, architecture and rare stereoscopy photo books!
