ORIGINAL 1935 BOOK TO A HITLER YOUTH INDIAN MOVIE PLAYED BY PIMPFS
DIE RACHE DER INKAS / (THE REVENGE OF THE INCA)
In 1935 the youngest of the Stuttgart Hitler Youth, the Pimpfe, were making a movie in which they dressed up as North American Indians and the movie had the intention to get little German boys excited to join the Nazi youth organization. Interesting is that the movie, the actors portrayed by HJ Pimpfe dressed up like Native Americans, plays in North America but the Inca Empire stretched through a large portion of western South America and Native Americans (Indians) and Incas probably never knew of one another. The 8 x 11 inch, 128-page hardcover book by Erich Lorenz which was published in 1935 by Loewes Verlag in Stuttgart is a very interesting documentary of how the movie was made. There are many photos of young HJ boys (Pimpfe) putting on their Indian costumes over their HJ uniforms.
