The 11 x 15inch (!), 324-page soft cover book was a special publication of the Illustrirte Zeitung Leipzig, published in 1936, a year after the 100,000 men Deutsche Reichswehr was not only renamed into Deutsche Wehrmacht but from now on openly modernized, mechanized and no longer limited in size, after Hitler declared that Germany will no longer follow the unfair conditions of the Treaty of Versailles. This fantastic book not only introduces every branch of the armed forces, such as Heer, Navy and Air Force and their tasks but also literally every major company in Germany that delivered to the Wehrmacht put their advertisings, in most cases with striking illustrations and one and even double page, into this publication. There are not only the ship yards that built the new battleships such as the Graf Spee and every major airplane manufacturer (Junkers, Henschel, Messerschmitt, Focke Wulff, etc.) as well as every major German car and truck maker (Auto Union, Mercedes, Opel, etc.), weapons and ammunition manufacturers such as Walther and DMW, there are also all kinds of other necessary Wehrmacht supplies advertised, such as typewriters, cutlery for the mess halls, uniforms, everything! A one-of-a-kind reference and definitely one of the best Third Reich publications that was for public sale, in very nice condition and complete.
