Offered for sale is this unique original 1942 LSSAH
IRON CROSS AWARD RECOMMENDATION, SIGNED TWICE BY THE
COMMANDER OF THE SS-LEIBSTANDARTE ADOLF HITLER AUFKLÄRUNGSABTEILUNG
SS-HAUPTSTURMFÜHRER HUGO KRAAS
AND BY LSSAH HEAD
SS-OBERGRUPPENFÜHRER SEPP DIETRICH
Very rare and sought after recommendation to bestow SS-Oberscharführer Wallner from the reconnaissance unit of the SS-Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler (LSSAH) with the Iron Cross 1st Class, signed twice(!) by LSSAH commander of the recon unit, Knight’s Cross with Oak Leaves holder SS-Hauptsturmführer Hugo Kraas. The document is also signed once by the head of the SS-Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler, SS-Obergruppenführer and General der Waffen-SS Sepp Dietrich. Kraas justifies the Iron Cross recommendation with the repeated acts of bravery of SS-Oberscharführer Wallner and Dietrich, who claims to personally know Wallner, supports the recommendation. A very interesting document with three signatures of two LSSAH leaders plus a total of three Leibstandarte-SS rubber stamps.
