1940 THIRD REICH 1st & 2nd GRADERS READING BOOK FULL OF PROPAGANDA
‘RHEIN-RUHR FIBEL’
This 7 x 9-3/4 inch, 94-page hardcover book was published in 1940 by Verlag Orsemann in Düsseldorf, Germany. The text is in Sütterlin, the old-style script in Germany and contains a ton of Nazi propaganda on the Führer Adolf Hitler and the National Socialist movement. There is an entire chapter in the back with short stories about Hitler, each with a picture of him with children. A very interesting historic document on how even the youngest were indoctrinated in Nazi Germany. The book shows signs of use and numerous (probably period) repairs, showing that it was actually used in a classroom in Third Reich Germany.
