Hilf Mit! was published monthly by the Nazi teachers organization. Each issue contained the latest news on Hitler Youth, school system and what the National Socialists had again achieved. In 1940 they launched a nationwide prize competition ‘Das Kriegserlebnis im Jugendschriftum’ and the best works were bound into this 6-1/4 x 8-1/2 inch, 320 page hardcover book.
