SS AHNENERBE MUSEUM IN DITHMARSCHEN, NORTHERN GERMANY

Exceedingly rare SS Ahnenerbe item used to demonstrate the early pre-history of the Aryan ancestors and their ingenuity. This piece came out of an Ahnenerbe museum display in the town of Dithmarschen in extreme northern Germany (Schleswig-Holstein). Included is a rare November 1942 issue of the magazine “Hamer” which is the Dutch equivalent of the SS Ahnenerbe publication “Germanien”. This issue shows the Dithmarschen Museum display and the type of items shown there. Item is in overall excellent condition. Measures approximately 27 inches length by 10 inches width and 26 inches height. Heavy! Approximately 30 pounds. Incredibly rare!
The SS-Ahnenerbe Museum closed its doors for good when the Third Reich ended in May of 1945.
