FOR GUARDS OF THE NOTORIOUS RAWITSCH PRISON IN GERMAN OCCUPIED POLAND

The extremely rare 114-page photo book was published in 1944 (only months before the Germans were driven out of Poland by the Russian Red Army – at the time called the Generalgouvernement) and printed at the notorious Rawitsch prison. The book with photos throughout was a training manual for guards of the Rawitsch prison and other prisons on how to effectively shoot pistols and rifles. Depicted are even the poles within the prison where inmates were executed. Of course, this book was never for public sale and only circulated among the prison guards. This manual for sure was published in a very small number of copies only and this is the first copy we have ever seen.
