Offered for sale is a RARE ORIGINAL 1943 HEAVILY ILLUSTRATED GUIDE FOR THE ANTI-SOVIET EXHIBITION HELD IN BERLIN ‘DAS SOWJET-PARADIES’ THIS EXHIBITION SHOWED THE HORRIBLE LIVING AND WORKING CONDITIONS IN RUSSIA AND WHAT THE GERMANS COULD EXPECT, IF THEY DON’T HOLD THE BARBARIANS AT BAY
Offered for sale is this rare original 6 x 8-1/4 inch, 48 page soft cover exhibition guide that was published in 1943 by the Reich Propaganda Chapter of the NSDAP which also hosted this exhibition in Berlin the same year. The exhibit painted a very dark picture of Russia and its horrible living and working conditions and the constant fear of getting arrested and either executed for not following the Boshevist program or getting deported to one of the Gulags. The intention of this exhibition for sure was to show its visitors what they can expect if Germany is not winning the war. Two years later the Russian Red Army was in Berlin and all fears came true, especially for every female in the city, no matter the age. This guide seldoms surfaces and this copy is in very nice condition.
