Reichsjägermeister Hermann Göring (Reichs master of the German hunt) had divided the hunting areas of the “Deutsche Jägerschaft” into “Jagdgaue” and these Jagdgaue were then again divided into “Jagdkreise”. This rare yearbook which is offered for sale is from the Jagdgau Braunschweig which covered the Jagdkreise Blankenburg, Braunschweig, Gandersheim, Hainberg, Helmstedt, Holzminden and Wolfenbüttel.
