DIE STRASSE
PUBLISHED BY THE GENERALINSPEKTOR FÜR DAS DEUTSCHE STRASSENWESEN FRITZ TODT
The 9-1/2 x 11-1/2 inch periodicals were published by Dr. Fritz Todt who was put in charge of the construction of the Reichsautobahn network by Hitler, printed by Volk und Reich Verlag in Berlin. Even though the periodical was about road construction in general, a major subject is the construction of Hitler’s Motorways – the Reichsautobahn. There are countless photos of the Autobahn under construction in all parts of Germany, finished sections and their great openings are featured, of course there are plenty of Hitler photos, a lot of great advertising and a ton of information on everything that has to do with motorized travel in Nazi Germany. Single issues are sought after and hard to find and sell for $50.00+ per issue. Here is your opportunity to purchase the first twelve (12) issues of the year 1937 bound into one volume (period binding) and all issues of the rare biweekly publication are in excellent condition, no missing or damaged pages and the binding is tight. A great source of information for anyone interested in original material about the Reichsautobahn.
