The hard to find 8-3/4 x 9 inch, 300 page hardcover book has about 200 full page pictures showing scenes from various Reichsautobahn construction sites throughout the entire Reich as well as finished parts of the Autobahn in use, with bridges, rest areas and gas stations, housing complexes for the workers, etc. and 14 full color fold-out maps that depict each section of Adolf Hitler’s Reich Motorways. The book cover must have gotten wet at some point of time but the pages and maps inside are undamaged, otherwise very good condition. The book was published by order of the “Generalinspekteur for the German motorway system”, Dr. Fritz Todt. It was published in 1935 by Gauverlag Bayerische Ostmark in Bayreuth, Germany. Offered here is a copy of the first edition.
