The 8-1/4 x 11-3/4 inch, 64-page photo book was published in 1945 in Praha (Prague), Chez Republic, shortly after the liberation of KL Mauthausen, 5 May 1945. The book depicts the horror and death in the camp in Upper Austria with gruesome photographs.
