Wie die Pflicht es befiehlt is a scarce 12-3/4 x 16 inch portfolio from SS Kriegsberichter (War Corres-pondent) Erich Palmowski, complete with all 20 drawings he made while at the front lines with his Waffen-SS comrades. It was published in 1943 by Voelkischer Kunstverlag in Berlin. The folder shows some wear but all twenty reproductions of drawings by Palmowski (8 in color, 12 in black and white) are in very nice condition. Complete sets of this publication are hard to find.
