We bought this excellent bronze statue together with some other memorabilia from the 1936 Olympic Summer Games in Berlin and therefore, we assume that this piece symbolizes the making of the Olympic bell and that is why we have listed it in the 1936 Olympic Games category. It clearly is from the 1930’s and it is German, but it does not say who the artist was. Unfortunately, it does not say anything on the entire piece, which is made in great detail. It is depicting two foundry workers pouring liquid metal into a cast which looks like the cast of a bell. The heavy piece is 9 inches long and 5 inches tall and in excellent condition.
