The 6 x 8 inch, 320 page hardcover book in nice condition with original dust jacket by Heinz Cavalier was published in 1939 by Wilhelm Limpert Verlag in Berlin. The book is an account of the experiences of numerous German athletes during the 1936 Olympic Games in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and in Berlin. The book contains 83 photographs, mostly of the athletes who tell their stories in this book.
