This rare original 7 x 10 inch, 128 page hardcover book with original dust jacket by Hedwig Hagemann in very good condition (only the dust jacket has some damage) was published in 1927 by Grethlein Verlag in Leipzig. It has 81 excellent photographs that depicts women doing gymnastics and dances in the nude to strengthen body and soul. The Nazis adopted many of these ideas and this book is great Nazi nudist forerunner material of what became the Nazi organization Bund fuer Leibeszucht which was strongly supported by Heinrich Himmler and Reinhard Heydrich. The purpose of this organization was to de-eroticize nudity and to demonstrate how exercises in the nude out in mother nature (preferably at the beaches of the North Sea, Baltic Sea or at the shore of a lake) strenghten body and soul and make him/her become a healthier and better Volksgenosse (Fellow German).
