ORIGINAL 1937 / 1938 / 1939 LUFTWAFFE YEARBOOKS

The 7 x 9-1/2 inch, 186-page hard cover books were published by order of the Oberbefehlshaber der Luftwaffe (Head of the Luftwaffe) by Verlag Breitkopf and Haertel in Leipzig. The yearbook series was started in 1937, each book contains a detailed and heavily illustrated report on new aircraft, ground personnel, strategies, war photographs (in the 1939 and onward editions) and much more! The same kind of year books were also published for the Heer (Infantry/Panzer) and for the Kriegsmarine (RKM or Nazi Navy). This lot includes the heavily illustrated volumes 1937, 1938 and 1939. All three are in good to very good condition, the 1938 and 1939 volumes come with their original dust covers.
