This 8-3/4 x 12 inch, 48 page 1942 soft cover publication, published by order of the Oberkommando der Kriegsmarine (High Command of the Nazi Navy) is an excellent and well illustrated account of the U-Boat war in the Atlantic. At that time the U-Boats still spread great fear and destruction where ever they showed up but not much later the tables were turned and the hunters became the hunted and the German U-Boot weapon became the German military branch that had the greatest losses.
