The size of this hard-to-find hardcover photo book is 8 x 10-1/2 inches with about 100 pages and about the same number of excellent photos about the historic event in 1938 when Austria became part of the German Third Reich which from then on was called “Grossdeutsches Reich” (Greater German Reich). The photos are from Hitler’s personal photographer, Reichsbildberichterstatter Prof. Heinrich Hoffmann and the book was published in 1938 by the Zeitgeschichte Verlag in Berlin. This is one of the harder to find Hoffmann photo books from the series of books on Adolf Hitler, especially in the ‘DeLuxe’ edition.
