This 8-1/2 x 10-1/2 inch, 160-page hard cover book contains 170 photographs of Third Reich architecture and the impressive Nazi sculptures crafted by famous artists like Arno Breker, Kurt Schmid-Ehmen or Josef Thorak.  There are excellent photos of Adolf Hitler’s New Reichschancellery as well as from the “Ordensburgen” where the future generations of Nazi leaders were trained. Also described, heavily illustrated, are new official government buildings, factories, housing developments for the German workers, the German Pavillon of the 1937 World Exhibition in Paris, the huge Olympic Stadium in Berlin from 1936 and many photos of sculptures in, in front of or around these new Third Reich buildings, preferable eagles in a lot of variations, with and without swastikas. This hard to find book, one of the finest Third Reich books on architecture, is a sought-after reference for anyone interested in the architecture and building projects in the German Third Reich.
