RARE EARLY ‘KAMPFZEIT’ PERIOD ‘CHROMOLITHOGRAPH’ PORTRAIT REICH PRESIDENT HINDENBURG

This hard to find original 220 x 290mm or 8-1/2 x 11-1/2 inch ‘Kampfzeit’ period portrait of Hermann Göring from the early 1930’s is done on wood in the chromolithograph technique, where the printing is direct onto a piece of plywood and then sealed, probably using a heating process, giving the effect as if the portrait has been painted on wood. The back is plain wood without any surface treatment. The original brass hanger at the top is lost to time but can easily be replaced. The facial expression is amazing, and the picture draws you in. A rare early Third Reich artifact that we have not seen before.
