Offered for sale is an excellent half leather book set, complete including the rare first issue about the so called “Kampfjahre 1918 – 1933” (the fighting years) and the almost impossible to find 1938 annex of Austria issue “DAS GROSSDEUTSCHE REICH”, all in excellent condition! Seven of the eight volumes come in their original slipcases, volume 5 has a parchment paper dust jacket. These fantastic books were published by Gerd Rühle, a NSDAP member of the first hour in cooperation with the official Institute for Statistics of the NSDAP and the Reich, making each issue the most comprehensive official summary of everything important that happened in Adolf Hitlers Germany!
Originally it was planned to publish one book each year up to the year 1940 but the 1938 special edition issue “Das Grossdeutsche Reich” (as Germany was called after the annex of Austria in 1938) was the last volume published. Probably because of the war starting in 1939 no further issues were published.
All eight books together have the amazing total of 3,894 pages(!) with hundreds and hundreds of photos and illustrations, copies of newspaper headlines, new created Nazi awards, all important Nazi officials, new Nazi flags, Reichsparteitage (Reich Party Days) in Nürnberg including the very early ones before Adolf Hitler became Chancellor of the German Reich, huge Nazi parades, Hitler Youth, Deutsche Arbeitsfront, the German Wehrmacht with reports from Luftwaffe, Heer (Infantry) and Reichskriegsmarine (RKM or Nazi Navy), etc.!
