This document is the official recommendation to promote Oberstleutnant der Schutzpolizei Erich Süß to Oberst der Schutzpolizei. Erich Süß, born in Berlin-Tempelhof who was at the time commander of the Schutzpolizei in Stuttgart was to be promoted to become leader of a large Police Command. Reichsführer-SS and Head of the Police signed this 4-page document with a nice bold signature. The document is dated 3 July 1942 and addressed to the Staatsminister and Head of the Präsidialkanzlei des Führers and Reichskanzlers in Berlin, Voßstraße (address of the Reichskanzlei). The recommendation was accompanied by an official letter issued by the head of the Parteikanzlei (not included and probably lost to time) in which he states that there are no objections to approve the promotion.
