ORIGINAL THIRD REICH N.S.K.O.V. BANNER & 1933 STREAMER

Offered for sale is this NSKOV (Nationalsozialistische Kriegsopferversorgung) 4×4 ft. (approx.. 1200 x 1200mm) Third Reich/Imperial standard. The obverse as the early horizontal swastika that was used in 1933 too late 1935 and is three-piece construction of quality cloth. The upper left corner panel NSKOV Kreis (District)Eisenach is in black. Kreis used black as color to 1936 then transitioned to white.
The reverse has black gold green band surrounding the flag which represents Saxon, Weimar, Eisenach. The Crown cipher in the center is CA for grand Duke Carl Alexander of Saxon-Weimar, Eisenach and is done in the old baroque current German script of the 19th century. Unit is the 94th infantry Regiment and the dates 1807 to 1815 are engagements the 94th were involved in the Napoleonic era.
All bullion and embroidery work are very well done and of impressive quality.
On the lead edge is the name of the vet that liberated this standard, a private that had a great eye. The rings are not present as it was probably pulled from the staff when acquired.
The streamer that came with the standard is for Flag Consecration Day in Nesslbach, Bavaria August 27, 1933 for NSKOV units, and is included.
This is a very unique well-made impressive one-of-a-kind flag that spans the Napoleonic, Imperial and Third Reich era.
