The 4-1/2 x 6-3/4 inch, 220 page soft cover book was the official songbook of the Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD or Reich Labor Service). It was published by order of Reichsarbeitsführer Konstantin Hierl by Ludwig Voggenreiter Verlag in Potsdam. It contains all songs the ‘Arbeitsmann’ or ‘Arbeitsmaid’ were singing. The cover shows some wear (probably from being carried around in the uniform pocket) but there are no pages missing and the binding is tight.
