Original 1936 curriculum vitae of a highly decorated SS Panzer ace (Knights Cross, German Cross in Gold, golden wound badge, Panzerkampfabzeichen IV Stufe ‘100’). Flügel lists his assignments until August 1935 and wrote and signed this document while he was stationed in Dachau with the I/SS Totenkopfsturmbann ‘Oberbayern’. He then served in the SS-Division ‘Das Reich’ and SS-Division ‘Wiking’, of which he commanded the 5th Regiment in 1944 and 1945.
