Original photograph signed by SS-Obergruppenführer und Generalleutnant der Waffen-SS Felix Steiner and SS-Sturmbannführer Erwin Meierdress, commander of 1./SS-Panzerregiment 3 of the ‘Totenkopf’ Division. The size is 70 x 100mm or 2-3/4 x 4 inches, very nice original condition and nice original ink signatures.

Felix Steiner survived the Battle for Berlin and the war and worked for the CIA in the 1950’s! Erwin Meierdress was one of the most successful Panzer commanders of the SS. Serving in Totenkopf, he fought at all the major battles from Kharkov, Kursk, Poland before being killed in action in Hungary as a battalion commander.
