A REMEMBRANCE BOOK FOR ARBEITSMAIDEN OF BEZIRK VIII HANNOVER-MAGDEBURG

The 8-1/4 x 9-3/4 inch, 96-page hardcover book was published in 1942 as a remembrance book for Arbeitsmaiden and their female leader of Bezirk (District) VIII Hannover-Magdeburg. The book is a very interesting photo documentation of the mandatory labor service that every BDM girl had to fulfill. It was called ‘Landjahr’ or also ‘Pflichtjahr’ and the young women mostly helped out on German farms. A great book in very nice condition that was never for public sale.
