This 5-1/4 x 8 inch, 176-page hardcover book by Hauptmann Fritz Bones was published in 1941 by Wilhelm Limpert Verlag in Berlin. The nicely illustrated book, which comes with its original dust jacket, is an account of the war in the west that led to France’s surrender to the Germans and the British Expeditionary Forces having to return to their island, leaving most of their equipment behind at Dunkirk.
