ORIGINAL 1938 THIRD REICH PHOTO BOOK ON HUMAN BODY, RACE, HEREDITY
Current bid: $5.95
ORIGINAL 1938 THIRD REICH PHOTO BOOK ON HUMAN BODY, RACE, HEREDITY
‘DER MENSCH (THE HUMAN)’
The 6-3-4 x 9-1/4 inch, 182-page hardcover book in nice condition was published in 1938 Verlag Quelle & Meyer in Leipzig. It very much reflects the Nazi ideology about blood, heredity, ‘unworthy’ life and contains pseudo-scientific charts and illustrations on nose and head shapes, healthy ‘Aryans’ in comparison to mentally and physically handicapped. This was a book that students used in science/biology class in Hitler-Germany!
