JAHRBUCH 1937 DER DEUTSCHEN FRONTSOLDATEN U. KRIEGSOPFER

The 6-3/4 x 9-1/2 inch, 188-page soft cover book was published in 1937 by order of the head of the NSKOV (Nationalsozialistische Kriegsopferversorgung), Reichskriegsopferführer Hanns Oberlindober, printed by their own publishing house, the Verlag Deutsche Kriegsopferversorgung in Berlin. The ‘Kyffhäuserbund’ and the NSKOV were organizations for veterans in the Third Reich. The two organizations were merged into one official Nazi veterans’ organization in 1938 and renamed to ‘Deutscher Reichskriegerbund Kyffhäuser e.V.’ until dissolved by Hitler’s order in 1943. It is said that his decision was because of the lost battle of Stalingrad. The heavily illustrated yearbook is in nice condition.
