GREAT 1936 NAZI PHOTO BOOK ABOUT SPORTS IN THE GERMAN THIRD REICH

This 6-1/2 x 9-1/2 inch, 366 page hardcover book by Willy Vierath was published 1936 by Peter Oestergaard Verlag in Berlin. It is a very comprehensive and heavily illustrated book about the different kinds of sports and sport competition in Third Reich Germany. The book is divided into 16 chapters: following an introduction it deals about athletics, heavy athletics (including boxing, weight lifting, etc.), team sports, tennis, golf, polo, water sports, winter sports, bicycle, motorcycle & car races, sports on horseback, shooting competitions and aviation sports. The final chapter talks about the Third Reich sports badge, the SA sports badge, the Reich Youth sports badge and the XI. Olympic Games in Berlin. A very interesting book in very good condition.
