A huge, rare and sought after original Third Reich poster as they were plastered on walls and ‘Litfass-Säulen (large, cylindrical announcement boards that were all over Germany), coming from the estate of an NSDAP Ortsgruppen Propaganda Leader of the name Adolf Kautz from the Karlsruhe area. Measures approximately 47 inches by 33-1/2 inches or 1200 x 850mm. The poster praises Adolf Hitler’s achievement to bring down crime dramatically within the first three years of being chancellor. The text claims that before Hitler the criminals were protected from punishment and since Hitler the government protects the people from criminals. Very few of such original large size posters have survived because they were either glued on a wall someplace or destroyed during or after the war.  We have never seen another original of this large size offered for sale anywhere. Will look great when framed and the creases will flatten out behind glass.
