Offered for sale is this extremely rare SS family book which normally can only be found as a reprint. Here is the opportunity to purchase an original from 1940. The SS book with black cover and white impressed SS Runes is entitled ‘Die Gestaltung der Feste im Jahres-und Lebenslauf in der SS-Familie’. It was written by SS-Obergruppenführer Fritz Weitzel, and supported by Reichsführer-SS Himmler and published in 1940 by Völkischer Verlag in Wuppertal. In addition to detailing the principles by which SS families should conduct their day-to-day lives, the book provides guidance for commemorating SS family birthdays and seasonal occasions from Easter to Christmas (Julfest). The size of the seldom seen hardcover book in very nice condition is 155 x 215mm or 6-1/4 x 8-1/2 inches, 79 pages plus 5 photo pages.
