This 10 x 13-1/2 inch, 32-page monthly periodical was published by the Reichsausschuss für Fremdenverkehr, the Nazi office for tourism. The sought-after publication was started in April of 1934 and offered here are the following issues:
- December 1935 with a preview of the upcoming Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen
- October 1936 featuring the new Haus der Deutschen Kunst in Munich
- April 1938 with a long photo report on the annex of Austria
The covers alone are something, all done by first class German artists of the time. The high-class magazine was intended to attract tourists to come visit the new Germany and each issue introduces the reader to interesting parts of Germany, its people, architecture, culture as well as some great Third Reich advertisings.
