This 7 x 9-1/2 inch, 80-page hardcover books were published in 1942 by Deutscher Verlag Jugend und Volk in Wien (Vienna). This two-volume book set was used in reading class by the boys and girls in Elementary Schools in Vienna. The books were put together by a group of educators in cooperation with Gauwaltung of the NS-Lehrerbund and contain a lot of National Socialist content and illustrations. The books show that they have been used but no pages are missing or are severely damaged.
