1935-1943 NINE YEARS OF THE RARE THIRD REICH ANCESTRY RESEARCH PERIODICAL

‘ARCHIV FÜR SIPPENFORSCHUNG’

NINE VOLUMES OF INTERESTING GENEALOGICAL RESEARCH MATERIAL

Nine volumes of the 7-1/4 x 10 inch, 400-page (the wartime volumes with fewer pages) hardcover yearbooks in excellent condition. The Archiv für Sippenforschung was a monthly periodical that was published by Verlag für Sippenforschung und Wappenkunde C.A. Starke in Goerlitz. The publishing house was owned by Hans Kretschmer. In 1946 the Russians who occupied Goerlitz confiscated everything he had and burned his entire inventory of printed books. Kretschmer migrated to West Germany and opened a new publishing house which is, long after his death, still publishing material on genealogical research. Offered here are the complete nine years 1935 to 1943 of this well illustrated and extremely interesting monthly periodical, all bound and in very good condition. The publication was discontinued in 1944 because of the shortage of paper, the 1943 volume are probably therefor the last bound Third Reich issues. Thousands of pages of excellent research material.
