This very hard to find book was published in 1942 by Raumbild-Verlag Otto Schönstein by Reich Air Ministry Ministerialrat Dr. Heinz Orlovius. This extremely interesting 8 x 11-1/2 inch hardcover book on the Luftwaffe con-sists of a regular book part with a lot of information on the Luftwaffe plus eight full-page full-color photos showing Nazi aircraft, pilots and Luftwaffe equipment. The first of these photos shows Reich Air Minister Hermann Göring. But what makes this book so unique are the 100 special 3-D photo-graphs which, when viewed through the enclosed metal viewer, give the im-pression of a three-dimensional view, almost as if viewed in real life.
The size of these photos is 2-3/8 x 5 inch, each photo is numbered and has a detailed description on the back. The 100 photos are stored in the thick front and back covers. The photos show Hermann Göring, some of his fighter aces, German aircraft such as Messerschmitt Me109, Junkers Ju87 Stuka, Heinkel He111, Focke-Wulf and Dornier planes in action and on the ground as well as their maintenance, destroyed enemy aircraft, Luftwaffe Fallschirmjäger (Paratroopers), etc.! A seldom seen fantastic book on the Third Reich Luftwaffe and probably the only book that shows the Nazi Luftwaffe in 3-D.
