This is the only copy that we have ever come across of this unique Third Reich publication! The 7-1/2 x 6-1/2 inch full color book by Heinz Schubel was published in 1938 by Verlag Jos. Scholz in Mainz and is in very nice condition. The book is about a man in a red convertible who takes a trip on the Reichsautobahn with his two children. The book depicts what they encounter on the way, other vehicles that they pass (and then meet again at a rest area), gas stations and restaurants along the way, a lake, and even wildlife that is crossing the Autobahn. The text is in Sütterlin, the old-style German cursive handwriting. The book can be folded out to an amazing 60 inches! Again, this is the only copy we have ever offered and who knows if and when we will ever find another.
