This sought after 9-1/2 x 12-1/2 inch, 168 page hardcover book is one of the finest original Third Reich publications on Nazi architecture! It was published by Professor Gerdy Troost in cooperation with the Gauverlag Bayreuth and printed in 1939 by Stuttgarter Vereinsbuchdruckerei. Offered here is the seldom seen Dutch edition, printed in 1943 in German occupied Amsterdam, Holland. The book has excellent photographs on almost every page and is in very good condition. It is volume I of a two-volume set but we are not sure if volume two was ever published in a Dutch edition. Shown are Reichsautobahn bridges and buildings along the RAB (Reichsautobahn), new official government buildings, Nazi Ordensburgen, factories, housing developments for the German workers, Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe buildings, air raid shelters and much more!
This hard to find book is a number one reference guide for those who are interested in the stunning architecture and building projects in the German Third Reich!
