The 6-1/4 x 8-3/4 inch, 244 page hardcover book by Hermann Esser was first published in 1927, offered for sale is a nice 1940 edition, published by Zentralverlag der NSDAP, Franz Eher Nachf. in Munich and it comes with the rare original, very graphic dust jacket. Esser first published this book in 1927 as a small soft cover book, copies of the first edition are nearly impossible to find today. Esser was one of Hitler’s earliest followers and his crude anti-Semitism was perhaps only topped by Julius Streicher, publisher of the periodical “Der Stürmer”. He finished his edited version shortly after the so called “Kristallnacht” in November 1938, the nationwide anti-Semitic violence and he states in his book that the Jews only got what they deserved.
