SCARCE ORIGINAL 1945 PHOTO BOOK DEPICTING THE DESTRUCTION IN VIENNA
‘WIEN 1945’
The 8-1/4 x 11-3/4 inch, 128-page hardcover book by Lotte Benz-Casson was published shortly after the end of World War Two and shows the destruction in and around Vienna. Because of the year it was published (we assume late 1945 or early 1946) the paper is of course of inferior quality, and the pages have darkened but the condition is nice. It was published mostly for the inhabitants of Vienna as a reminder of the results of the Nazi reign from 1938 to 1945.
